The End
First, I want to thank you all for reading my blog – your support means so much! I’m so sad that the senior project is ending. I feel that I’ve learned so much and gained skills that will prove valuable in college. I dipped my feet in the world of design and construction; although I’ve decided that these will probably not be the direction I take my further studies to, I’m glad I got the opportunity to try them out.
The bad news – I will not be able to hang up the mural due to legal and administrative challenges, at least not within the scope of the senior project timeline :(. I hope that in the coming weeks, some of these challenges may be resolved. If not, I am looking into local elementary schools that would love to take it in. Maybe take an hour to teach stringing during an Arts Attack session? I am still going to conduct a final survey of the effects of the mural in the few days that remain leading up to the presentation based on some pictures of it.
That’s about all for this final week – I spent time completing the stringing of the mural, refined my presentation, and completed the photobook which will be my final product for display at the presentation.
Love, joyfulness, gratitude, and patience – that’s all it takes to make some difference in the world (oh, and of course, some string and nails)!
Thank you!
