Week 10: Back in the Groove
This week I really got back in the groove after taking a vacation. I spent a lot of time deconstructing my interviews into a format that can be presented. I have been writing a piece that can summarize my finding and express the overall improvements my interviewees have felt from their living arrangements. This week I also got lunch with a person who is very well connected in the local government and is also working on a project dealing with loneliness. With his connections in the local government I have asked him to put me in contact with someone working on the housing project, mentioned in a previous blog. This project has so many similarities to mine and I would just get such a different perspective if I could find out how people were actively trying to use this relationship instead of my project which is just reporting how this relationship is so beneficial. The next few weeks I will have one or two more interviews, hopefully a good presentation after the practice presentations. And a good understanding of how that city project works to pair people.
Hi Cole!
Hope you had fun on your vacation! Good luck with the rest of your interviews and finishing off your final product! Hope that things work out with the city project!
Nice job on getting this kind of contacts!
Hi Cole,
I think it’s great that your getting all of these contacts and making use of all of the resources you have to get as many perspectives on a really interesting topic as possible! Good luck with those other interviews(I’m commenting a little late so they may already be done, in which case, I hope you got all of the data/info that you need) and your presentation. I can’t wait to see what kinds of conclusions you come up with!
