Week 8: Los Altos Home Sharing

Apr 10, 2019

I spent a lot of time this week researching this town project that was shared with me. The project group is called Affordable Housing Working Group. This group actually scheduled a panel discussion with the towns people. Unfortunately I had scheduled a college visit to Cal Poly weeks before I found out the date of this panel discussion. So I was unable to make it. I have however emailed multiple members of this committee asking them to talk to me about this project. A few have responded and said that they don’t have time to talk about the project, which I understand but I am hoping to hear some positive news from some others. I have incorporated a lot of the research on this project into the discussion from my interviews and have created conversation topics using this program to use in future interviews. Next week I will be going on vacation so will not be working a lot, but will continue to check email and keep reaching out to people.

    Hi Cole,

The Affordable Housing Working Group seems really pertinent to your project and could probably help you get a lot of information for your project. And, it’s ok about the setbacks, I’m sure that someone is going to get back with information from the panel. But, it’s good that your still looking into the group and incorporating whatever you can find about it into your research. Hope your college visit went well. I’m looking forward to reading more!
