Week 8…the beginning of the end of my project. Throughout this week, I basically started wrapping up my project. To be honest, I had already finished many trials, but one more didn’t hurt. I did spend a couple days out of town, but my professor was able to take care of my cells while I was gone. I also began working on my presentation and my paper, which may actually be published soon (I’m EXCITED). On the side, I was assisting my professor with his research about microRNAs. Honestly this week, there’s nothing much to report other than that I’m beginning to wrap everything up and that I’m working on a paper. One thing I would like to say is that I’m honestly gonna miss doing this research for a while. I may come back next summer (2020) to participate in the Canary Research Internship.
I’ll save you some feels and talk about my experiences and opinions in the last blog, but until then just expect me to ramble on about my project as usual.
