Ms. Saha

Teaching Fellow

Ms. Saha graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2014 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Spanish and in Global Studies. She qualified for UC Santa Barbara’s Dean’s Honors List in her Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 academic quarters, and in May 2014, she was awarded the prestigious “Robert E. Wilson Memorial for Distinction in the Spanish Major” for her Senior Honor’s Thesis, an original analysis of La Celestina, Fernando de Rojas’ medieval Spanish masterpiece.

Shreya joined BASIS Independent Silicon Valley as a Spanish Teaching Fellow, and hopes to share her passion for, and knowledge of, Spanish and Hispanic culture with the young scholars at the school. She looks forward to being a part of the Basis Independent Silicon Valley team, where academic excellence and individual intellectual pursuits are celebrated.

In her free time, Shreya enjoys reading, listening to music, and cooking.
