Ms. Srivastava proudly serves as Dean of Students and College Counselor for BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. “My overall goal is to ensure that all students feel supported in their academic endeavors and that they fully understand their roles, responsibilities, and goals when it comes to going through and preparing for the college admissions process,” she says.
She chose BASIS Independent “because of its incredibly talented and caring faculty. I also felt that BASIS Independent puts the needs of students first while at the same time emphasizing student accountability.”
“My teaching philosophy is to help students understand how to discover for themselves what they are truly passionate about and what motivates them,” says Ms. Srivastava. “I then help them to harness that passion and motivation into clear goals, aims and curiosity for future learning.”
When she is not at school, she loves to read, travel, and find new restaurants to try in the Bay Area.
