Dr. Hale

Director of Student Affairs

Dr. Hale earned his Bachelor of Science degree at James Madison University nestled in Shenandoah Mountains of Virginia. Shortly after, he continued his passion for education going on to finish both Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees at the prestigious Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

After an incredible first year teaching all levels of physics here at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley, Dr. Hale has taken on a much broader role as the Director of Student Affairs. "It is an honor working to ensure the academic success every single BASIS Independent student as the leader of student support. I look forward to the continued growth and success we have had here at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley," says Dr. Hale. "I came to BASIS Independent to live in the heart of Silicon Valley and spark a fire of physics and education to world-class students."

When he is not on campus, Dr. Hale can be found hiking, biking, or camping somewhere in California's beautiful, great outdoors.
